Mr_ 8418 here anonymous rather than doxxed however nothing is safe on the internet So I guess I'd say semi-anonymous!

What’s the story behind your favourite NFT?
So my favourite NFT really is ‘’The Currency’’ by Damien Hirst. The reason is it was the first NFT I ever purchased. I had traded crypto previous to this and although  I was aware of NFTS I hadn’t really done any research into them. 

I then saw the application for the Hirst drop, was successful in allocation and picked up the currency.  The concept of physical vs digital choice made it an easy step into NFTS as I thought the Physical piece was the hedge against the NFT. However my research then really took me down the Rabbit Hole of NFTs and into web3.

It's been a fascinating journey, it has to be my favourite because it was my first, it has allowed me to make good connections within the space and put myself out of my comfort zone I even managed to interview Damien Hirst for a podcast and I set up about the project which was an amazing experience as I was  invited to his place for a face-to-face interview, had a couple of hours and it was really fantastic talking with Damien and the founder of Heni, the technology company behind the Hirst NFTs and co-founder of the The Palm studios - an Ethereum sidechain

If money were no object, which NFT would you buy?
That's a real tough one, I guess it would probably be a cryptopunk for me, the ultimate flex in my opinion, and with its historical importance I think they are great.

I don't think I'll be brave or cool enough to wear the Tiffany necklace mind!

How did you get into the NFT space? What was your journey?
I won’t bore you with the details of that one again it was because I got my Hirst NFT and that got me into it, that's about it really. Damien Hirst and Joe Hage at Heni have a lot to answer for, thanks guys!

How much time do you spend in Web3? Do you have a day job?
Yes I have a day job, I run my own company which manufactures, markets and distributes medical devices used in Orthopaedic surgery. I'm involved in the Web3 Communities that I'm engaged with every day, often well into the evening as time zones work well for me being GMT based and a lot of the communities are running on PST.

How did you come into Rug Radio and what interests you most?
I got into rug radio after listening to Farokh on his spaces, I then started following Mel and was blown away by the Tokenmics being described and hearing the passion from the team. 

I am very interested in the workings of the DAO,  I feel like we are part of the set-up and continued evolution of rug radio as a company. I think of it more as a company that we are all partners in, building and evolving and governing. We have the ability to be so agile and have so much talent in the community, it’s amazing - Any web2 company would be happy to have all the ‘advisers’ there on hand with ideas, criticisms, etc - it’s great to build in the open in a transparent way.

What’s the play? Member pass, Genesis and which one, $RUG or $RDAO?
I'm quite risk averse generally so I have a member pass , a few Scarce 2 Genesis passes and I'm holding $RUG from the utility yielding tokens and buying from liquidity pools.

I have 1 $RDAO so far to allow me to vote and be involved, as I learn and research and get more involved in the DAO side I'll see which way I'll go. More $RUG or more $RDAO? I’m still unsure, however I think we have time and I think we are still building and I expect the path to become clear.

What would you like to see most as Rug Radio evolves?
I would really like to see the governance framework executing on its plans and really pushing forward some of the superb partnerships that rug radio is capable of achieving.  

I want to see rug radio create the next generation of web3 media superstars, to have so many cool shows and great content that Farokh, OSF and Mando have to work harder and harder to keep GM NFTS as the number one show

Are you planning to lurk only, or do you have an interest in building within RR?
I'm still learning and researching and understanding more but I will find my way and then give my experience and expertise to the building of RR. I have only Yesterday submitted a proposal for a show which I will explain more about in a moment.

What is the biggest obstacle you see for RR success?
The biggest obstacle must be that nobody has done this before, the first truly decentralised media company. As with any innovation the obstacles and experimental nature of a novel idea will end up with mistakes learnt along the way there is always a chance that these mistakes can be very very costly. However I am sure with the brains behind some of the comments that I've been reading from the community and the core team this risk is minimal

Are you creative? Would you host a show? 
I did actually submit an application for a show recently. I proposed to host a weekly show where I interview the other show hosts, getting a background from them (similar to these questions) whilst simultaneously advertising their shows and the RR schedule. I don't have a massive audience or reach via spaces but hope it gets selected. If I get a no, I'm going to suggest that the GM NFT show plugs one of the other shows at the start or the end of each show (like a commercial) but want to see if I get a shot first!

What tools do you use to find, trade and buy NFTs? 
All over, I mostly buy stuff I like, premint pass, some small DM groups with friends, I use flips.finance pro for volume and activity tracking, and Trait sniper as well as Conium.

What project other than RR currently excites you most? 
I'm still very excited by the currency from Damien Hirst and what HENI will create for the community. I am also very excited by the Jadu AVA.  I'm still waiting for my rare 1/1 to be revealed and am hoping for a Michael Bay. I learnt about this project on the GM NFT show, had a premint and bought and sold some on secondary so it has been good already.

Have you connected with anyone over web3? Who inspires you?
Every single day I'm connected to people in the Communities that I'm involved in and I'm inspired by many of them, So many Intelligent and creative minds and views shared it really is food for thought on a daily basis.

I can be found on Twitter @Mr_8418 . I also have a small photography NFT collection titled’ what I see when I run’ which is available on opensea. (Linktree in my discord and twitter bio). I deployed the custom smart contract with RUNR token, using manifold Studios. This was a cool project for me to learn, understand and then execute.
